About The Position
The Surgical registered nurse provides direct patient care, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, to assigned patients in the Surgical units. The registered nurse is supportive, compassionate, efficient, detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills and who collaboratively maintains plan of care for the vulnerable patients.
Requirements
- All External Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current California RN license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Previous experience as a Surgical RN in an acute care facility
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
