About The Position

To plan and provide for total patient care through the use of the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. To direct and guide patient teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current Iowa RN license
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
  • Resume
  • Two recent employment references
  • Online verification of licensure or certification to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions within 30 days of start date
  • All copies of required certifications: BLS, ACLS (through American Heart Association) - PALS & TNCC
  • Immunizations to include: MMR (Mumps, Rubeola & Rubella) either 2 doses or Positive Titers
  • Immunizations to include: Varicella-positive titer or 2 Varicella Vaccines
  • Immunizations to include: Polio
  • Immunizations to include: Hepatitis B Series, titer or signed declination
  • Immunizations to include: Current TDaP – Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (dated within 10 years of start)
  • Immunizations to include: Flu vaccination during Flu Season (Oct 1st – March 31st)
  • Immunizations to include: Negative 2-step Mantoux within 1 year of start or the QuantiFERON Gold - If Positive, must provide proof of positive & chest x-ray results
  • Proof of physical within 1 year of start date
  • 10 Panel Drug Screen within 1 month of start date
  • Respiratory Fit Test within 1 year of start date
  • Criminal Background (All states where they hold a professional license and have lived/worked in the past 7 years) within 30 days of start date
  • National &/or State Sex Offender
  • GSA(EPLS) Sam.gov within 30 days of start date
  • OIG-Date within 30 days of start date
  • Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)
  • Completion of CareLearning education modules
