About The Position
Southeast Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Emergency Services department. This role is responsible for providing appropriate standards of emergency nursing care, managing assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment, and promoting positive relationships and teamwork. The RN is accountable for their own clinical practice and the quality of nursing care provided by their team, while actively supporting the hospital's mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Current RN License in the state of Alabama
- Basic Cardiac Life Support required
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Nice To Haves
- Successful course completion in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of employment
- Successful course completion in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of employment
- Successful course completion of institutional intermediate EKG course
Responsibilities
- Actively accepts, understands, and practices appropriate standards of emergency nursing care.
- Is responsible and accountable for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment.
- Is responsible for promoting positive relationships and teamwork among employees and between departments.
- Is responsible and accountable for own clinical practice, as well as the quality and quantity of nursing care given to patients by nursing personnel.
- Actively supports the mission, vision, and values of the hospital and department.
