About The Position

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the facility. Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing. Sees patients under a variety of circumstances. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Handles emergency or crisis situations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
  • Current Washington State RN license required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required within 30 days of hire.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within 6 months of hire. Preference for both PALS and ENPC within 6 months of hire, but required to have at least one within 6 months of hire, and both within 1 year of hire.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within six months of hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum two years’ experience preferred with Emergency and/or ICU experience.
