About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN - Emergency Department for an exciting Travel or Local job in Katy, TX. This is a contract position for 13 weeks, with a Night Shift schedule of 3x12s, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
Requirements
- Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- PALS Certification required
- Strong Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Assist physicians during examinations and treatments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
- Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
