About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care within a fast-paced emergency care environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to assess, treat, and educate patients while maintaining exceptional clinical standards and accurate medical documentation.

Requirements

  • Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License required
  • Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • Must possess technical skills relevant to emergency nursing care
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional nursing care to patients within the Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
  • Assist with examinations, emergency procedures, and treatments
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
  • Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and patient records
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations in a high-acuity environment
  • Follow all patient safety, infection prevention, and facility policies and procedures
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while working independently and collaboratively
