About The Position

The Emergency Department has been newly expanded and features thirty-two beds divided into four pods of eight beds each, with each pod staffed by one provider, two RNs, and one tech. This fast-paced ED treats an average of more than 150 patients per day, handling cases including acute cardiovascular and neurovascular emergencies, general medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and psychiatric patients. The department is recognized by the American Heart Association as both a STEMI receiving center and a designated Primary Stroke Center. Patients treated range in age from neonate to geriatric.
