About The Position

This role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The RN will collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate medical and nursing management, perform emergency treatments, maintain documentation, communicate effectively, and promote patient and staff safety. The position also includes overseeing care delivery, staffing needs, and adapting to changes in workload while maintaining quality care.

  • Ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessments efficiently and effectively

  • Ability to administer and perform nursing assessment in accordance with applicable patient type (Acute, Observation, ER, SNF, Outpatient)
  • Ability to review, discuss, and implement health care provider orders appropriately
  • Ability to respond to call lights and patient needs in a timely fashion
  • Ability to recognize abnormal symptoms/changes in patient condition, establish priorities, and take appropriate action
  • Ability to serve as a patient advocate
  • Ability to perform patient rounding for all patient assignments
  • Ability to evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes prior to discharge
  • Ability to demonstrate personal accountability in the delivery of patient care in a competent, professional, and compassionate manner

Responsibilities
