About The Position

This is a 60% FTE position with 8/12 hour day/evening shifts between 7:00 am and 11:30 pm, including every other weekend. Hours may vary based on operational needs. The role is located at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. The position involves working at a Trauma Level IV Emergency Department, applying clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment with complex patient needs. The nurse will work with patients and families of all ages and acuities as part of a team providing emergency care.

Requirements

6 months of RN experience Required
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire Required
CPR certification Upon Hire Required
ACLS within 6 months Required
PALS within 6 months Required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
1 year of ICU, Critical Care, or Emergency Department experience with adult and/or pediatric populations Preferred
TNCC Preferred
ENPC Preferred
