About The Position

The RN Educator designs and conducts educational programs to meet organizational, audience, and regulatory demands. The role supports achievement of Infirmary Health's standards of quality and efficiency, as well as desired outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Working knowledge of adult learning principles, educational methodology, and instructional design.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Alabama RN license or current multistate RN license in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with previous teaching experience.
• Certified Diabetes Educator credential desired in the Diabetes Center/DERC.
• Certified Dialysis Nurse credential through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC).
