About The Position

This position focuses on the education of current staff and the orientation of new staff within Perioperative Services. The role includes auditing responsibilities and participation as part of the leadership team.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse registration and certification or eligible for licensure in New York State.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and in depth knowledge in specialty area.
• Demonstrated effective leadership, teaching, research and communication skills.
• Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for decisions.
• Utilizes problem-solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to identify problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to improve job performance through continuing education.
