About The Position

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide coordinated, high-quality patient care while utilizing critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based nursing practices. The RN will manage assigned patient populations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, supervise nursing staff as needed, and ensure safe patient outcomes through assessment, intervention, and evaluation.

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• BLS (AHA/RQI) required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• NIHSS required
• CPI / TEAM / Aggression Management certification required

Nice To Haves

• Acute care experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Manage high-acuity patients while prioritizing safety and clinical outcomes.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, ancillary departments, patients, and families.
• Provide emergency interventions and evaluate patient progress.
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
• Delegate nursing responsibilities and collaborate with healthcare team members.
