Requirements

Must possess an active nursing license in Colorado as an RN.
Associate's or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn electronic medical records and other software systems.
Demonstrates respectful communication, maintains patient confidentiality, and fosters a secure, trusting environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior nursing experience working with eating disorders or behavioral health/mental health is preferred but not required.
Confident nursing skills and decision-making; remains calm in stressful situations.
Offers ideas and collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams; flexible and adaptable.
Motivated to understand eating disorders and their medical challenges better.

Responsibilities

Perform daily nursing duties such as medication administration, specimen collection, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, and patient observations.
Order & follow up on lab tests, communicate results to providers, and escalate urgent findings.
Address patient concerns with clear communication and provide education on medications and eating disorder-related medical issues.
Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver ethical, high-quality care.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Assist milieu staff in supporting patients and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.
Transport patients to programming & outings when required.
