About The Position
Journey Nursing Services is expanding and seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time RN to join their team. They focus on people-centered, holistic care for patients and their support systems, aiming to empower employees and address the nursing crisis. They provide personalized and holistic private duty nursing, Nurse delegation, and Nursing pool services. The RN will work in various settings including private homes, Adult Family Homes, and Assisted Living Communities, managing a small caseload of RN Delegation and Private Duty Nursing patients. Responsibilities include establishing care plans, conducting skilled nursing visits, providing float delegation coverage, and offering RN coverage to supported communities.
Requirements
- Current Washington state RN license in good standing
- Current BLS
- One (1) year of nursing experience is required
Responsibilities
- 1:1 Private duty nursing (potentially Trach/vent, TPN)
- See patients in a variety of community settings
- Admit patients and establish care goals
- Establish and maintain the plan of care and review progress to goals
- Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary teams
- Assess, treat, implement, and evaluate patients
- Delegate care to caregivers in community settings
- Provide education to nurses, caregivers, families, and patients
- Foster a high-performing culture of excellence that drives employee engagement and provides exceptionally reliable, safe, high-quality patient care
- Perform other job-related duties as needed
