About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARTERIAL LINE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• BLS and ACLS REQUIRED (AHA ONLY)

• CRITICAL CARE experience
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• ICP Monitoring (SICU/NCCU)
• Ventilated patients
• Pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
• Assist with line insertion and maintenance
• Lines /tubes/ drains for post surgical patients
• Ventriculostomies, Lumbar Drains, Bolts, EVD (SICU/NCCU/ PICU)
• PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC)

Responsibilities

• Assist with line insertion and maintenance
• Manage lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
• Care for patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Care for patients with ICP Monitoring (SICU/NCCU)
• Care for ventilated patients
• Administer pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
• Care for patients with Ventriculostomies, Lumbar Drains, Bolts, EVD (SICU/NCCU/ PICU)
• Manage PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC)
