About The Position
This position involves providing nursing care to all patient populations within the Critical Care CVICU department. The Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring regulatory compliance in their practice. They will assume responsibility and accountability for patient care outcomes and guide unlicensed nursing personnel. The role also focuses on contributing positively to safety outcomes and promoting a high-quality patient experience.
Requirements
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred
- Ecmo or Impella pump experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department

- Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
- Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
