Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Active New York State RN License
- BLS certification (must be current or willing to recertify)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care facility (within the past 2 years)
- PACU experience is required
- Previous critical care experience is essential
- EPIC EMR proficiency (strongly preferred)
- Adaptability, critical thinking, and teamwork in fast-paced settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized post-anesthesia care for adult critical care patients.
- Monitor and manage patient recovery, complications, and pain control.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient management.
