About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Perioperative Services, the QC is responsible to coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of the quality assurance performance improvement program, which includes all ancillary, nursing, and support areas in Perioperative Services. Responsible to identify trends, prioritize and recommend improvements, decrease duplication, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position will also investigate incident reports, patient complaints, patient care issues, and other issues as requested by the Perioperative Director & Perioperative managers. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of current OR RN experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
• Proficient in Excel.
• Proficient in PowerPoint.
• Project management experience.
• Experience with updating policies/procedures to meet regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Recent experience in policy/protocol development.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room Certification (CNOR).
• American Society of PerioAnesthesia Nurses Certification (ASPAN).

Responsibilities
