About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Cardiac Neuro Intensive Care Unit (CNICU) on the dayshift. This part-time position requires 24 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and weekend rotation. The role involves providing professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Key responsibilities include assessing patients' condition, recognizing changes, planning and evaluating care, monitoring progress, recording observations, and delegating appropriate tasks. The RN functions as a team member to achieve unit goals.

Requirements

5 years of RN critical care experience
Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association BLS
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of start date into position
