About The Position

The Cardiac Neuro Intensive Care Unit (CNICU) is a 20-bed specialty intensive care unit focused on caring for patients with a wide range of cardiac and medical diagnoses, including those undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgery, experiencing acute myocardial infarction, and managing cardiogenic shock. Requirements

  • Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • CPR certification
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Responsibilities

  • Assesses human responses and plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families.

  • Assesses patient reports/records change of condition, notifies physician and/or supervisor, and intervenes appropriately and documents accordingly.
