Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as an RN
  • RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

  • Potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Must follow standard precautions.

Responsibilities

  • Providing clinical leadership and day to day supervision of clinical staff, to included ancillary staff members.
  • Ensuring JCAHO, OSHA and other regulatory compliance in the clinical setting.
  • Creating staffing schedules for all clinical staff.
  • Supervising department staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance and competence, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed.
  • Working with Clinic Administrator in development of the 10-year plan and annual budget.
  • Assuming responsibility for the Clinic Administrator in the administrator's absence.
  • Ensuring compliance with all appropriate regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards for nursing (JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Responsible for patient safety and risk management for the clinic; identifies high risk situations and initiates the problem-solving process.
