Requirements

2 years of experience as an RN
RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Must follow standard precautions.

Responsibilities

Providing clinical leadership and day to day supervision of clinical staff, to included ancillary staff members.
Ensuring JCAHO, OSHA and other regulatory compliance in the clinical setting.
Creating staffing schedules for all clinical staff.
Supervising department staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance and competence, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed.
Working with Clinic Administrator in development of the 10-year plan and annual budget.
Assuming responsibility for the Clinic Administrator in the administrator's absence.
Ensuring compliance with all appropriate regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards for nursing (JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
Responsible for patient safety and risk management for the clinic; identifies high risk situations and initiates the problem-solving process.
