About The Position

This onsite position requires the ability to commute to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. The role involves daily direct patient and family interactions focused on decreasing costs, length of stay, and increasing patient satisfaction. The coordinator ensures the delivery of optimal, comprehensive care to trauma patients throughout their stay by establishing contact, setting up monitors, and evaluating patient care delivery. They also assist trauma service physicians and staff by identifying potential complications, treatments, and providing care through close daily monitoring and interactions. Requirements

• Must meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas
• Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• Trauma care, quality management, and critical care experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current or previous CCRN or CEN
• Critical Care or Intensive Care RN experience

Responsibilities
