Requirements

Accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) OR Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current RN license in state of residency
3+ years of experience in a clinical environment as a Registered Nurse
Training of medically related education and clinical experience
Knowledge of effective adult learning principles and writing techniques in order to assist in development of training materials and deliver instructional training programs
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, database experience
Understanding of regulatory standards and their application to various examinations and documents
Proven ability to use clinical judgement to interpret test results
Proven ability to lead or direct in a classroom environment
Proven excellent critical thinking skills in order to monitor the quality assurance practices of staff
Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with a wide variety of personality and learning styles
Demonstrated solid organizational and time management skills
Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered

Nice To Haves

National Career Readiness Certificate
2+ years demonstrated experience in designing/developing and implementing professional training materials and conducting training in a business/academic environment, preferably in a healthcare industry
Or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered
Experience with military screenings
Leadership and/or military experience

Training experience in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

Oversee and participate in the development of training materials and training modules
Evaluate training processes, tools and activities for effectiveness. Monitor and report the effectiveness of training to Center of Excellence Training Manager
Perform quality assurance (QA) and report audit findings to Center of Excellence Training Manager
Research and recommend new training techniques and new training resources to Center of Excellence Training Manager
Conduct on and off-site training programs for staff
Center of Excellence Training Manager in all duties as required
