About The Position

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Martin South Hospital where research and surgery are advanced, technology is leading-edge, patient care is world-class, and caregivers are family. This 100-bed hospital provides top-quality patient care to the communities in and around Martin County. Here, you will work alongside passionate physicians, nurses and other caregivers in a family-oriented, supportive environment. Sometimes, an Emergency Department visit is not long enough for caregivers to understand a condition or provide the appropriate recovery time. The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) cares for patients awaiting results to determine if discharge or readmittance is necessary. As an RN, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering your education, committee participation and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills. A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
