RN Clinic - Urology - Jefferson (Oceanside)
About The Position
The RN Clinic - Urology provides care at Scripps Clinic Jefferson in Oceanside. The position is generally scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; hours may vary as needed. The work is approximately 70% administrative, including in-basket messaging and phone triage, and 30% face-to-face, hands-on patient care, with opportunities for more direct patient care as the role evolves. The nurse helps ensure patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. The role provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, including patient assessments and care tasks, triage, clinical procedures, emergency protocols, and medication administration. The nurse works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to support optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma.
- California RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Urology experience.
- Ambulatory care experience.
Responsibilities
