About The Position

Valley View hospital is looking for a Nurse Leader to step into an Outpatient setting to utilize their clinical and management skills to enhance the seamless delivery of quality care within the practice. This is a working supervisor position, so this role will be providing direct patient care as necessary to help the team. May involve occasional travel to outreach clinics. The GI Team focuses on cancer detection and prevention in the domain of digestive health and conditions related to diet, swallowing, indigestion, liver, pancreas, and colon. The team covers weekdays only and offers 4-10 hour shift options. Work in an Outpatient setting to utilize your clinical and management skills to enhance the seamless delivery of quality care within the clinic. Supervise the day-to-day clinical operations of a physician practice, oversee clinical staff members, be responsible for clinical staff training, monitoring and maintaining clinical staff competencies, monitoring clinical integration, support physician schedules, and ensure efficient patient flow through the practice.

Requirements

Current Colorado RN license (DORA); or eligibility to obtain
2 years post graduate experience as an RN
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

2 years supervisory experience in a direct-line supervisory position
Substantial work exposure to ambulatory care
