RN Clinic Supervisor GI Clinic
About The Position
Valley View hospital is looking for a Nurse Leader to step into an Outpatient setting to utilize their clinical and management skills to enhance the seamless delivery of quality care within the practice. This is a growing GI Team focused on cancer detection and prevention in the domain of digestive health and conditions related to diet, swallowing, indigestion, liver, pancreas, and colon. The team is cross-functional and covers weekdays only with 4-10 hour shift options. The role involves supervising the day-to-day clinical operations of a physician practice, overseeing clinical staff, training, monitoring competencies, supporting physician schedules, and ensuring efficient patient flow. It is a working supervisor position, requiring direct patient care as necessary. Occasional travel to outreach clinics may be required.
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license (DORA); or eligibility to obtain.
- 2 years post graduate experience as an RN.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years supervisory experience in a direct-line supervisory position preferred.
- Substantial work exposure to ambulatory care is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day clinical operations of a physician practice
- Oversee clinical staff members
- Be responsible for clinical staff training

- Providing direct patient care as necessary to help the team
