About The Position

The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment; plans and delegates care based on patient needs; executes therapeutic physician orders and nursing interventions; and evaluates the patient's response to care and progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for patient-care outcomes during the assigned shift. The role requires successful completion of a Perioperative RN program or prior experience as a circulating RN.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Alabama nursing licensure or eligible multi-state licensure.
• BCLS certification, which must be completed within the provisional period.
• Successful completion of a Perioperative RN program or prior experience as a circulating RN.
