Weekend Circulator RN
About The Position
US Fertility is hiring a Weekend Circulator RN to join Shady Grove Fertility in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The role supports patients and clinical teams in a physician-led fertility care organization committed to improving the patient experience and advancing reproductive medicine. The Weekend Circulator RN assesses patients, develops preoperative care plans, explains surgery phases, and provides comfort, psychological support, education, and medication administration. The position involves caring for patients who have received anesthesia or conscious sedation and requires strong clinical judgment, technical skills, and clear communication. The schedule is every other Saturday and Sunday as needed, from 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM Eastern Time, with two holidays per year.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
Nice To Haves
- Two to three years of clinical experience.
- Operating/procedure room or PACU experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Use advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and formulate patient care plans.
- Perform initial preoperative assessments, develop a plan of care, and explain subsequent phases of surgery.
- Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and family members.
- Care for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
- Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.
- Provide patient education.
