Responsible for administering and directing appropriate nursing interventions as prescribed by a qualified physician or mid-level practitioner. Requirements

  • LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure-Others
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program

Responsibilities

  • Administering and directing appropriate nursing interventions as prescribed by a qualified physician or mid-level practitioner.
  • Effective communication and accurate documentation.
  • Performing the initial nursing assessment, communicating findings with the assigned physician or mid-level.
  • Assessing the wound stage and measurements, documenting care plans, evaluating the patient status in regards to desired outcomes.
  • Identifying patient care situations that require intervention.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Providing education to the patient and/or caregiver.
  • Serving as patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of care.
  • Collaborates as needed with other healthcare providers, Wound Care Center Providers, the Program Director and Medical Director regarding patient needs.
  • Performs other duties as required.
