About The Position
Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed hospital in Conyers serving Rockdale County and the surrounding area. We offer quality healthcare services and respected physicians, surgeons and specialists. Founded in 1954, Piedmont Rockdale became part of Piedmont Healthcare on October 1, 2017 – expanding quality healthcare services to our community. This position assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. The role requires thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and its maintenance, and the administration of direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. The nurse will provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
- 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience
- Current Georgia RN license, RCIS or RCES
- BLS and ACLS
Responsibilities
- Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures.
- Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it.
- Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
- Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
