About The Position

Under the supervision of the Clinic Administrator, will perform the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the Outpatient Wound Healing Center. The RN will also be responsible for providing case management for wound care patients, including discharge planning, family education, and coordinating with patients’ home health and DME providers. Case Management will also coordinate care and communicate with patients referring physicians’ office test results, wound care services provided and patient progress. Is responsible for meeting the established Outpatient Wound Healing Centers Standards of Nursing Practice in the management of all assigned patients. Assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. Acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, as well as professional and ethical practice. This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current, active license to practice in Arkansas required
  • Proof of highest level of nursing education achieved, required
