About The Position

This is a RAPID RESPONSE position for a RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Charleston, South Carolina. The contract is for 6 weeks with 48 hours per week, working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role requires the ability to care for up to 1-3 ICU patients and manage patients on ventilators. Responsibilities include conducting bedside shift reports for every patient with each transfer of care, proficiency in reading telemetry strips, and administering phlebotomy and breathing treatments such as inhalers and nebulizers.

Requirements

• 36 months RN experience with at least one year in an ICU
• One previous successful travel nursing assignment, preferably in a facility that used meditech
• Prior CVICU experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH stroke scale
• Advanced skills in CRRT and advanced hemodynamics

Responsibilities
