About The Position
Seeking a Rapid Response RN for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a 12-hour day shift position for a 6-week contract, starting on 08/10/2026. The role involves caring for up to 1-3 ICU patients, managing ventilators, performing bedside shift reports, and administering CRRT, advanced hemodynamics, and respiratory treatments.
Requirements
- 36 months RN experience
- At least one year in ICU
- Experience with telemetry strips and advanced hemodynamics
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
Nice To Haves
- Prior CVICU experience
Responsibilities
- Care for up to 1-3 ICU patients
- Manage patients on ventilators
- Perform bedside shift reports for patient handoffs
- Administer CRRT, advanced hemodynamics, and phlebotomy
- Administer respiratory treatments (inhalers, nebulizers) outside ICU
