About The Position

Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, with over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices. In an ambulatory setting, the clinical nurse uses the ANA scope of practice and nursing process to provide professional nursing care grounded in patient- and family-centered principles. The nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of Nursing and Operational Leadership and in accordance with policies and procedures. This position is in Cardiac Rehab at the Care Center Royal Oak.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate degree (A.D.N.) or equivalent.
• Two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification.
• If not minimally BSN-prepared, a new graduate or nurse with less than one year of experience must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of the licensure date and complete it within five years.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD).
• Specialty certification.
