About The Position

Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, including over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices. The clinical nurse uses the ANA scope of practice and nursing-process framework to provide professional nursing care grounded in patient- and family-centered care principles. Under the direction of Nursing and Operational Leadership, the Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care in an ambulatory setting according to applicable policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s degree (A.D.N.) or equivalent.
• If not minimally BSN-prepared, a new graduate or nurse with less than one year of experience must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure and complete it within five years.
• Two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD).
• Specialty certification.
