About The Position

We are currently hiring an RN for our Level 17 Cardiac Unit at St Mary's Medical Center! Types of patients and conditions you will see: post op heart surgery, telemetry monitoring, pacemaker, ablations, vasculature patients, A-fib stabilization, arrythmias, syncope, and chronic heart failure.

Requirements

• Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
• ACLS required within the first year

Responsibilities

• Organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Being a team leader and delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
• Contributing to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and in turn serve the community in which you live.
• Meeting the requirements of the Joint Commission as applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
