About The Position
Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 4 South Cardiac Telemetry unit. This is a 32-bed Cardiac/Pulmonary Unit staffed with Hospitalists/APPs 24/7, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Patient Care Technicians. The typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:4/1:5. The unit manages various cardiac and pulmonary conditions including Arrythmia Management (Cardioversion, Pharmacologic Management, Tikosyn Loading), management of titratable Cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Milrinone, Cardizem, Bumex, Heparin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Lasix, Nitroglycerine), Management of Bipap, Telemetry Monitoring, Management of High-Flow, Management of post intra-cardiac defibrillator and pacemaker placement, Post Cardiac-catherization Care (TR Band Management), and DKA management (Glucommander and titratable Insulin drip).
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients
- Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization

- Maintain standards of practice
- Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care
