About The Position

The Stress Lab Registered Nurse provides safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac stress testing and related diagnostic procedures. The RN is responsible for patient assessment, preparation, monitoring, medication administration, emergency response, patient education, and collaboration with cardiologists, technologists, and ancillary staff to ensure accurate testing, patient safety, and efficient workflow in the hospital setting. Will act as a Resource RN to support the Cath Lab, PACU, and assist with PICC lines.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience.
Cardiology, telemetry, ICU, ER, PACU, or procedural area experience.
Experience interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding to clinical changes.
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and hemodynamic assessment skills.
Proficiency in IV insertion, medication administration, and emergency response.
Excellent patient communication and education skills.
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
Proficient electronic documentation skills.
Team-oriented with strong collaboration and communication abilities.
BLS and ACLS.
Current and active FL state nursing license.
