About The Position
This is a Level II trauma NT/SICU unit with 12 beds and a 2:1 patient ratio. The unit specializes in neuro/trauma patients and is equipped to care for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains. The nurse will be required to float to Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed. The shift is NOC, a 12-hour shift starting at 1900.
Requirements
- At least 5 years acute critical care experience
- EPIC charting experience
- Level II trauma critical care experience
- Current CA RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS
- Previous traveler experience
Responsibilities
- Care for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains.
- Float to Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed.
