About The Position
This is a Level II trauma NT/SICU unit with 12 beds and a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. The unit specializes in neuro/trauma patients and requires the ability to care for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains. The nurse will also be required to float to Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of acute critical care experience
- EPIC charting experience
- Level II trauma critical care experience
- Current CA RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS
- Previous traveler experience
Responsibilities
- Care for neuro/trauma patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains.
- Float to Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed.
