Indian River Hospital’s Surgical ICU (SICU) specializing in medical services for populations recovering from post-operative complications. As an RN, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to discharge. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed. This position provides the rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and float to other units in the hospital providing your comprehensive skills and expertise helping to ensure the best possible health outcomes. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills. A caregiver in this position works nights from 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m., six weekend shifts within a six-week period, with rotating holidays and floating requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
ICU RN experience is required.
