About The Position
We are urgently hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health position in Fort Wayne, IN. This role involves working in a beautiful new 120-bed facility that is currently opening unit by unit. The patient population is adult with low acuity. RNs must be able to work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend. The facility uses EHR Wellsky for documentation and Omnicell for the med system. Royal blue scrubs are required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Behavioral Health/Psychiatric experience.
- Must be able to work 36 hours per week.
- Must be able to work every other weekend.
- Experience with Handle with Care or CPI is a plus.
Nice To Haves
- De-escalation experience.
Responsibilities
- Work any of the units: Adolescent, Adult, and 55+ Geri.
- Float to any unit as needed.
- Provide care to adult patients with low acuity.
- Complete documentation in EHR Wellsky.
- Administer medications using the Omnicell system.
Benefits
- 36 hour guarantee
- Pay Rate: $1728 total weekly gross - $48/hour ($20/hour W-2 taxable, $28/hour non-taxable stipend)
