This team works collaboratively to foster a safe, team-oriented environment. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment. Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Two years of recent related nursing experience (for external candidates)
Licensed military RN experience will be considered
Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
