A Day in the Life of an RN - Behavioral Health Clinic Coordinator The RN Clinic Coordinator plays a vital role in an interdisciplinary team, supporting services in behavioral health, and working closely with the HOPE Clinic to address opioid addiction care. Responsibilities include direct patient care through assessments, education, refill management, care coordination, and administering medications or vaccinations, as well as performing various medical procedures. Challenges include maintaining meticulous records and adapting to diverse patient needs across different care scenarios. Collaborative efforts with clinicians, LPNs, and CMAs are crucial to delivering integrated patient care and effective communication within the team. The role demands a flexible approach to schedules, including regular follow-ups with patients and coordination of care plans with physicians, ensuring comprehensive service delivery. Requirements
- American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Minnesota RN license
- EHR proficiency

- Prior clinic nursing experience in behavior health
