RN and LPN – Long Term Care – Consistent Scheduling – Local Facility
About The Position
Ridgewood Terrace, a Concord Health Systems facility, is seeking dedicated RNs and LPNs to join their team. This is a locally owned nursing home group serving Western Kentucky, focusing on providing respectful, attentive care that supports the dignity, comfort, and well-being of each resident. The Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse plays a key role in coordinating resident care, administering treatments, and ensuring a calm, supportive clinical environment during the shift. They are looking for dependable and compassionate individuals to provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a resident-focused nursing home environment. They offer consistent overnight scheduling and a supportive leadership team.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Kentucky
- Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts (including nights if applicable)
- Commitment to professional, compassionate resident care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home environment preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy
- Assess resident conditions and respond to changes in health status
- Provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
- Accurately document care and treatments in the medical record system (EMAR/EHR)
- Communicate effectively with CNAs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
- Support and supervise nursing assistants as needed during the shift
- Contribute to a respectful, resident-centered environment
