About The Position

The RN Ambulatory Team Lead works as part of an interdisciplinary care team to provide professional nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting. The role assists with clinical oversight of caregivers and patients, coordinates and resolves daily operational issues in a specified clinical area, and supports quality and safe care. The position is based at the Coral Springs Family Health and Surgery Center and works days from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• Two years of recent experience as an RN.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Adult inpatient or ambulatory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of an ambulatory registered nurse.
• Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues in the specified clinical area.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
• Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching, and mentoring of assigned employees.
• Assist in preparing department-specific education for patients and colleagues.
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement, and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, and patient safety.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to support smooth and effective transitions of care.
