100% FTE, Monday - Friday, primarily 8:30AM - 5:00PM, no weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on operational needs of the department. You will work at the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Float, Pediatrics to: Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals, who provide everything from preventive health care to highly specialized programs. Assist with phone triage, in-basket management, patient education and direct patient care. Be an active member of the highly collaborative interdisciplinary team. Care for our patients and families of varied patient populations and locations. Utilize your critical thinking skills in many ways such as triaging phone calls. Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, education and provide chronic condition management/education.

Requirements

6 months of RN experience Required
Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
Relevant RN experience Preferred
Applicable clinical certification Preferred

Responsibilities
