About The Position

Work Schedule: 100 FTE%, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, no weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at the Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Be part of something remarkable! We are seeking a Registered Nurse to: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), RNs, medical assistants, and schedulers to deliver high-quality care for patients requiring post-operative, complex wound management and gastrointestinal motility procedures. Provide hands-on clinical care and dressing management for complex wounds, including wound VAC, and assist in the OR with GI motility procedures (e.g. manometry, pH testing) Monitor patient response during and after procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. Perform pre-visit planning and preparation for procedures, comprehensive patient assessment and triage, ongoing clinical evaluation, documentation and procedure image editing. Provide education to ensure patients are prepared for testing, post-procedure care, and have appropriate follow-up care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of school of nursing
  • 6 months of RN experience
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire
  • CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Relevant RN experience
  • Applicable clinical certification
