RN | Acute Care Unit (ACU)
About The Position
Join Logan Health's 40-bed Acute Care Unit (ACU), a fast-paced environment providing exceptional care to patients with a wide variety of medical conditions and treatment needs. Nurses care for patients with diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, sepsis, diabetes, kidney disease, dementia, gastrointestinal disorders, and complex wounds, while coordinating care for numerous diagnostic tests and procedures. The unit also cares for post-surgical patients and serves as a step-down destination for patients transitioning from higher levels of care. With a high volume of admissions, discharges, and interdisciplinary collaboration, ACU nurses develop strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills while helping patients progress toward recovery and discharge. Requirements
- Current Montana RN license (or compact license) required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Compassion for geriatric and medically complex patients
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Pass a pre-employment screening including: Criminal background check, Reference checks, Drug Screening, Health and Immunizations Screening, Physical Demand Review/Screening.

- Previous Med/Surg experience preferred
